Embrace the gravitational pull of the full moon while we honor the divine feminine consciousness during this relaxing, nurturing and pleasure filled Yoga Retreat. Immerse yourself in the spiritual energy of Taos, New Mexico. Tucked beneath the Sangre de Cristo mountains, enjoy the opportunity to capture the healing energies of Northern New Mexico. This unique retreat offers three days and two nights of yoga, guided meditation, hiking, 4-star accommodations, farm to table meals at the award winning La Tierra restaurant and option of pampering yourself at the Living Spa.
In many cultures and traditions, the moon is a deeply feminine symbol, marking it’s passing phases with ceremonies and rituals to honor the connection between nature and ourselves. The moon offers a different kind of light to the sun, a light that can illuminate inner desires, strengths and knowledge. This Women’s Yoga Retreat will give space to stir the cauldron of your inner being, to nourish, and celebrate your uniqueness and beauty. Through yoga, meditation, laughter and creative reflection, we will liberate our innermost expression and joy.
Over the past 20 years, Mikiala has found yoga to be the most powerful way to develop and maintain physical vitality, mental clarity and a joyful engagement with life. Mikiala began meditating at the age of 16 in the caves of Egypt and has continued to included many styles of mediations with in her yoga practice, teachings and daily life. Searching for a way to deepen her own practice and a desire to share the many benefits of yoga with others, Mikiala completed the teacher-training program at one of the most proficient yoga schools in the county, YogaWorks. She holds a professional certification with Yoga Alliance.

Saturday April 28th
8:00-9:15 am Pranayama, Sun Salutations & Morning Meditation
9:30-10:30 am Breakfast at Gardens Restaurant
11:00 am -1:00 pm Scenic Hike, Rio Grande Gorge (Meet out front of Hotel for shuttle departing 11am) Or book your spa treatment during this time
1:30 – 2:30 pm Lunch at Gardens Restaurant
3:00 – 5:00 pm Yoga
6:00 – 7:30 pm Dinner at De La Terra
Following Dinner-up until 10pm
Come on everybody let’s get in the Hot Tub and Pool!….and then take in the Full Moon!

1:30 pm Optional: On the way home, join us at Ojo Caliente Hot Springs ($38 day use, 50 min drive from EMS)
WHAT TO BRING
For YOGA Think COZY & SOFT!
• Comfortable moveable yoga clothes in which your feet and ankles are visible
• Socks for keeping feet warm
• Blanket or shawl to use for meditation and in relaxation poses
• Yoga mat will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own
• Any specific props you enjoy using (general props will be provided)
For PERSONAL, SPA, MEALS & HIKING:
• A bathing suit to swim or enjoy the hot tub, perhaps some easy slip on pool shoes too
• Walking shoes for outdoor activities, including near by nature walks and our group hike
• Personal items and toiletries
• Clothes; pack layers with plenty of comfy warm pieces (remember jacket for moon gazing). We will be casual all weekend- let’s be comfortable
• A good book or other items that help you lay back and relax (coloring books!)
