Experience an intimate and exclusive tour of Taos Pueblo, a World Heritage UNESCO site whose iconic multi-storied adobe buildings have been continuously inhabited for over 1000 years. Discover the Tiwa speaking most northern pueblo and listen to the stories about the historical and modern context of these peoples. Enjoy an immersive experience visiting with a private community docent of the Pueblo for an private tour of this bucolic village.

Following our Taos Pueblo visit, we journey tour to the Taos Gorge Bridge, the seventh tallest bridge in the U.S. and walk along a short section of the Rim Trail to learn of this dynamic geological story while soaking in views of the Rio Grande Rift and River below.

Journey on the scenic route into the Rio Grande Del Norte Monument for an interpretive guided experience. At the center of the monument our mighty Rio Grande cuts into the thick lava flows of the Rio Grande Rift Valley that make up the Taos Plateau. Our trailhead starts at 6,400 feet offering breathtaking scenery along the 2.5 mile La Vista Verde Trail catching views of the Taos Box, an 18-mile stretch of 900 foot cliffs and huge rapids that empty at the historic Taos Junction Bridge. Enjoy your organic and local lunch soaking in these views, the sound of the Rio Grande and possible sighting of our local Bighorn Sheep.
